P3. Biological and Behavioural Determinants
in the Contraction and Spread of Communicable Diseases in Vulnerable Populations (DAPET)
In 2015, the DAPET Programme had its Sub-pro- gramme for Immigration and Health (SIS) active.
Some of the most relevant results of the Sub-pro- gramme were:
CONSOLIDATION OF THE PELFI STUDY (PLATFORM FOR LONGITUDINAL STUDIES IN IMMIGRANT FAMILIES):
• Start of the implementation of the three cohorts (designing the instrument, establishing the data collection circuits and field work for collecting baseline data).
• Presentation of the first results at the 2nd Lat- in-American Congress on Epidemiology and Public Health, held in Santiago de Compostela (2 spontaneous round tables, 11 papers at different round tables).
• 4 theses started with PELFI data.
• Drafting of the Report on the diagnostic phase of the Badalona sub-cohort “Experiences and mean- ings connected with health and access to and use of the health system of the immigrant population of Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet.”
• Continuation of the coordinated FIS project “Changes in health and care for immigrants and vulnerable populations in a crisis context. Analy- sis of multiple sources of evidence. MEISI”.
SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTS: 23 papers, 8 publications.
TRANSFER PRODUCTS: drafting an exhaustive document or policy report and starting to draw up the short version of the document (policy brief).
OTHERS:
• At the meeting of the Sociedad Española de Ep- ide- miología the annual meeting of the sub-pro- gramme was held, where there was an update of its situation and different synergies were estab- lished which will gradually be materialised over 2016.
• In 2015 we participated in the Work Package on “Access of the migrant population to HIV diagno- sis and care” (coordinator: Daniela Rojas) as part of the EURO-EDAT Project: The European HIV Ear- ly Diagnosis and Access to Treatment (DG SAN- CO 2014-2017) (PI: Jordi Casabona).
